About AFCHE Founder and CEO, Bwambale Geofred

Geofred was born and raised in Kasese-Uganda in the small village of Buhandiro. 

His unquenchable desire to learn led him to study and graduated from Nsamizi Training Institute of Social Development in Mpigi, where he learnt much on the human rights, Human Rights Concerns, to help victims of human rights violations in Uganda and after went to educate the public about their rights. 

In the 2019 he became the best grantee of Girl First Fund (GFF) while he was working for Girl Empowerment Foundation (GEF) on a project preparing and responding to early child marriages in Kasese where other grantees voted his organization, where others can copy the best practices working with girl child, fundraiser, and inspirational speaker. In 2020, Geofred founded Alliance for Community Health Education (AFCHE) Project in response to school fees for Girls and the devastating effects of Cancer, HIV/AIDS, and Orphans in Kasese and Lwengo districts. In 2020, he resigned with Girl Empowerment Foundation   as a project Coordinator funded by Girls First Fund in the US to focus full-time on The AFCHE School fees for girls, HIV/AIDS and Sexual Reproductive Health Rights concerns.
